Every friday there will be either a short quiz, or an exam, with the exception of May 2.

A quiz will be short (about 20 min) and will be based on the material covered the week immediately before and will be answered with open notes but closed books. There will be absolutely no make-up quizzes; however, your lower score will be dropped at the end of the quarter.

There will be 4 exams during the quarter. Each exam will last one class period and could include any of the material covered in class up to that date. No notes are allowed during exams. Again, absolutely no make-up exams will be given, but your lowest score will be dropped at the end of the quarter.
