The Bellevue Community College Science and Math Institute (SAMI)
 was created in 2008 to promote interest in science an mathematics.
 SAMI strives to encourage K-12 students to take an interest in
 studying science and math in school by providing programs and events
 that encourage discovery and awareness. To retain the number of
 BCC students seeking degrees in the STEM (science, technology,
 engineering and math) fields, SAMI also supports on-campus
 educational events. Additionally, SAMI hosts events and programs
 that spark an interest in science-related topics for the general public
 in the surrounding communities.

 Our Mission

 The Bellevue Community College Science and Math Institute is
 committed to promoting science and math education amongst students
 in the local school districts, Bellevue Community College students and
 the community at-large by providing and supporting outreach
 programs and events that foster an interest in science and math.
