The requirements for each school are quite different from one another. Students need to plan carefully for the baccalaureate institution that they plan to attend. In addition to the specific requirements outlined above, students will also need general education courses, English composition and mathematics to satisfy the program admission requirements. It is recommended that students earn a transfer degree from BCC in order to facilitate their transfer to the baccalaureate school. Many baccalaureate schools require two to three quarters of foreign language for admission and/or graduation. In some cases, high school classes may satisfy this requirement, but students need to clarify this well before graduation so as not to delay transfer.
Advising for transfer students is available in the BCC Science Division office, L 200. For an appointment, phone 425-564-2321.
